Last week, we, the 6c students went on an interesting excursion to the Albertina Museum as part of the topic “Art” that we worked on in our English lessons in the past weeks.
We started with a guided tour in English through the main exhibition “Monet bis Picasso” and learned about modern art movements.

Our guide told us about Surrealism, Pointillism and much more. She explained to us what makes each style so special and how artists use different techniques to express their emotions. At the end of the tour, we participated in a workshop where we had the opportunity to create expressionist self-portraits.
It was a funny day and we enjoyed discovering the world of art together!
